Great for starting conversations with, it is made from an original middle bar of a Spanish War Veterans Members Badge.  Meant to suspend a cross marking all the areas of the world fought for and won from the Spanish American War, this piece can not stand for acknowledgment for miltiary service while still promoting history at the same time. 
 
Even add another small piece to suspend from the loop at the bottom for extra appeal.
