Momento Mori Vivere Fob

Moments Mori Vivere Fob 
Of my own design, from experiences that shaped my thinking. 
This fob can be worn on a watch chain for Victorian era display or you can were it as a modern pendant or bracelet if you wish. 
The Phrase “Momento Mori” is Latin for Remember you are Mortal or that you must end. With Vivere meaning Live.  An Ancient Roman statement pre-Christianity which saw a resurgence in the renaissance and into the Victorian era with jewelry of various makes and styles, tending to be dark and “gothic” to some degrees, momento Mori was devised as a reminder of mortality. I added the word live as the combination of the words is a more powerful reminder to do so. 
Belief in deities, the supernatural, and the afterlife may offer comfort and purpose to many, but ultimately, the only truths that can be universally acknowledged are the certainties of death, the irony of existence, the whims of luck, and the inexorable passing of time. These fundamental realities shape our lives in ways that transcend belief, grounding us in the undeniable facets of human experience. While faith may provide solace, it is in the acceptance of these irrefutable truths that we find a deeper, more enduring understanding of our place in the universe.
